Tristan Hwang
Tristan Hwang, an International Baccalaureate student at Troy High School in Fullerton, California, is driven to make a difference in healthcare. Passionate about STEM, he aims to alleviate the struggles of those with neurodegenerative diseases. As President and Founder of Beacon of Resilience, Tristan seeks to create a global impact through support and awareness. Committed to spreading knowledge on healthcare advancements, he encourages healthier living. In his free time, Tristan enjoys reading, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

Valerie Hwang
Valerie Hwang is a seventh grader at Sierra Vista Middle School. She is interested in all things science-related and hopes to make an impact on the community through Beacon of Resilience. In her free time, Valerie loves swimming, singing, and creating random arts and crafts projects.

Hailey Chan
Hi! I’m Hailey Chan, a junior at Troy High School. I’m currently a part of my schools technology program, and I’ve always been interested in technology and computer science. I’m also passionate about biomedical science, and bridging the technological and medical fields together. I’m excited to help Beacon of Resilience grow!

Jacob Pan
Jacob Pan is an International Baccalaureate student at Troy High School in Fullerton, California. He has an affinity for Business Management but is truly interested in medicine. In his effort to become an ophthalmologist, Jacob is immersing himself in Anatomy and Physiology related biology courses, is a member of Troy's ClubMed, and as interning under an ophthalmologist. Jacob sought after the treasurer position at Beacon of Resilience to apply his Business Management studies to a medical-related organization, as well as take advantage of the opportunity to explore how music affects the psychology and neurology of patients with neurodegenerative diseases.

Andrew Tsai
Andrew Tsai is a junior at Troy High School and has always had a strong interest in STEM, especially biology and chemistry. Since middle school, Andrew has volunteered with several STEM-oriented organizations and clubs to spread his passion for math and science. Currently, Andrew is a competitor for Troy High School’s Science Olympiad team, earning medals at invitational, regional, state, and national levels. Outside of STEM, Andrew enjoys playing the piano and going birdwatching.

Victoria Cho
Victoria Cho is currently a junior from Troy High School in Fullerton, California. As the Director of Events, Victoria seeks to make meaningful connections between all members and to amplify the nonprofit’s mission to make meaningful change in this world. In Victoria's free time, she likes to practice self-care in forms such as reading, enjoying a sunny day outside, volunteering in her community, spending time with friends and family, etc.

Hi! My name is Hanh Dinh and I’m currently a junior attending Troy High School in Fullerton. I’ve had an interest in the medical field ever since I was in grade school, with my current interests lying within molecular biological sciences.
